Your hosting/care encompasses the following services:
- Automatic software updates for WordPress core, plugins, and themes
- Multiple daily backups (local and offsite) with rapid recovery options
- 24/7 uptime monitoring with proactive alerts
- High-performance hosting with custom server optimization
- Daily vulnerability scans and intrusion detection
- Advanced caching and image optimization for fast load times
- Web application firewall for bot and threat protection
- Login protection to block bad actors
- Third-party transactional email from the site (for password resets, notifications, etc.)
- Dedicated staging site for safe testing and changes
In other words, the hosting/care arrangement means we keep your server up and running, your site’s software up to date, and your site as fast and secure as possible.
Hopefully, it goes without saying that any issues we directly cause will be remedied at no charge.
Your hosting/care does not include the following:
- Content additions/updates (e.g., adding pages or content)
- Troubleshooting and remedying:
- Software issues caused by third-party software incompatibility or production quality.
- Outages or disruptions caused by changes made by non-RA staff.
- Configuration/management of external services (Google Analytics, etc.)
- Installing/configuring new plugins or services
In other words, diagnostics and fixes are billable if something goes wrong and we didn’t cause the issue.
